"Welcome to my blog" something I thought I would never write. This is a place where friends and family can come to see what I'm thinking these days and learn about events in my life from the view from my window on the world. I will include thoughts generated by recent and past events in my life. Basically, it is just a place for me to continue to be creative. I hope those who come enjoy what I've written or the photos I share and learn more about me and the journey I'm taking.
Very beautiful Phalaenopsis! Orchids are the one thing that I've never been able to grow. After the plant is gifted to me, I enjoy the beauty of the blooms for a long time! But when they're snipped off to allow another "spike" to come up/through, I have to hand it over to an orchid expert if I want to see more blooms. Expert says it's too hot out in Waianae for them to grow. I dunno about that cause I do know of an orchid nursery right up the road. Maybe it's because I live too close to the ocean (too much salt in the air). I can grow other things...just not orchids. Enjoy!
